As a Financial Advisor, business broker, and consultant, I love working with people to help them maximize their wealth and realize their life's dreams. I help create customized investment strategies, seeking out high quality, low-cost investments. But more importantly, I want to help you make well-informed decisions and maintain the discipline you need to navigate through the most challenging markets and times of your life.
My Background
I received my B.A. in Philosophy from Haverford College in 1987. I worked in film and television production in Hollywood for several years, before receiving a law degree from Loyola Law School in 1995. As a lawyer I worked in business and toxic tort litigation, and once wrote a court medical brief that helped establish causation in a case known as Anderson vs. PG&E, later made into the motion picture, Erin Brokovich. I also have experience with copyright, trademark, and patents.
In 1998, along with a business partner, I launched Nirvana Candle Company out of a garage, and grew it to over $1 million in annual sales in just over three years. The experience of running and growing a manufacturing operation with up to 20 employees – along with my legal expertise – provided the perfect background for my transition into business sales with Sunbelt Business Advisors, the largest business brokerage franchise in the world. I am a licensed member of the California State Bar Association and hold a California broker's license and insurance license.
Personal Information
I am a dual citizen of the U.S. and Switzerland. I am the father of two precious children and I love being a dad. I like to play the guitar and read history, and I once self-published a book of political cartoons. My favorite pasttime is training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and I have won gold at both the 2009 Pan American Championships and the 2007 and 2010 U.S. Open.
